摘要: The present contribution reports for the first time some in vitro biocompatibility evaluations of hexanoyl chitosan (H-chitosan) possible utilization biomedical applications. comprised cytotoxicity testing and attachment, proliferation, spreading L929, mouse connective tissue, fibroblast-like cells that were cultured on surface H-chitosan film comparison with those film. These films fabricated by solution-casting technique. Some thermal, physico-chemical, morphological characteristics also investigated. exhibited two steps loss its mass at 242 299 °C, respectively, while only one 297 °C. water contact angle was 76°, counterpart 71°, a result indicating more hydrophobicity counterpart. Indirect evaluation using L929 revealed non-toxicity to cells. Lastly, both attachment proliferation inferior tissue-culture polystyrene plate (TCPS). better than short seeding (i.e., <5 h), after 2 3 days culture.
