Aging microstructural characteristics of ZA-27 alloy and SiCp/ZA-27 composite

摘要: Abstract The aging characteristics of as-quenched microstructures ZA-27 alloy and SiCp/ZA-27 composite(ZMCp) were investigated using SEM, EDS TEM. structure, morphology size sub-grains in primary dendrite ZMCp continuously change during process. Little tiny spherical Zn-rich η phase distributes the dendrite. Amount transitional α′ phase, well coherent with equilibrium αf SiCp-neighboring edge zone is less than that center zone. Both eutectic peritectic β transform into lamellar α phases, obeying [ 2 ¯ 113 ] / 110 , and ( 002 ) 1 01 . In like-eutecticum ZMCp, amount decomposition products are found. decomposed from obviously larger monolithic alloy. lamella beside SiCp evidently more rapid SiC particulates strongly accelerate neighboring
