Interior Environmental Design for a Leisure Learning Area in the National Gallery of Thailand

摘要: The aim of this research study was to design and assess the interior environment for a leisure learning area in National Gallery Thailand. used combined quantitative qualitative methodologies: interviewing curator, 2 staff members, executive director Thailand; physical survey areas gallery; questionnaire users’ preferences art activity area. conducted with sample group 600 potential users who were randomly systematically sampled from population first-year students majoring applied arts several governmentally-supported universities Bangkok. obtained data on designs that based concept functional aesthetic ‘circumplex model affect’ cognitive theory analyzed accordingly. preliminary three arrangement patterns environmental elements provided positive stimuli: 1) pattern low level stimuli; 2) one moderate level; 3) high stimuli. These are illustrated paper as layout plan 3 computer-generated 3D perspectives assessed by 10 experts 1-5 Likert rating scale. means standard deviations achieved indicated medium stimuli very quality X =4.5, SD = 0.14 =4.59, 0.19, respectively.
