摘要: Abstract The content of free sugars and the activities enzymes involved in carbon metabolism-sucrose synthase, acid alkaline invertase, phosphoenol pyruvate carboxylase, malic enzyme isocitrate dehydrogenase were determined during seed development mungbean pods. A decrease carbohydrate pod wall from 10 to 25 days after flowering (DAF) a concomitant increase till 20 DAF was observed. Sucrose remained dominant soluble sugar seed. In branch inflorescence wall, sucrose metabolizing enzymes, viz. synthase (synthesis cleavage) phosphate higher at 5–10 DAF, whereas maximum these observed time filling stage (10–20 DAF). High rapid can be correlated its sink strength. Higher carboxylase than may indicate involvement fruiting structure for recapturing respired CO 2 . could provide NADPH skeletons required synthesis various reserves.
