摘要: Summary Detached leaves of eggplants ( Solanum melongena L.) with and without stems or shoots attached were kept in a glasshouse mist propagation chamber, for 16 days. Sucrose synthase activity sucrose starch content leaf blades petioles organs increased while net photosynthetic rates decreased. Lower increase occurred remained higher. Leaves showed no the concentrations only slightly. The higher than to only. results indicate that act as storage if are not attached. This is reflected an which considered be good marker ability sink attract assimilates (mobilizing ability). In contrast, invertase decreased constant after detachment.
