摘要: The flower is the most significant and beautiful part of plants. Flowers are very useful organs in plant developmental phenomenon. During bud opening, various events takes place a well defined sequence, representing all aspects development, such as cell division, cellular differentiation, elongation or expansion wide spectrum gene expression. complexity opening illustrates that biological mechanisms involved at different stages. Senescence represents ultimate stage floral development results wilting abscission whole parts. an active process governed by death program. Once opens, programmed senescence petal allows removal metabolically tissue. In leaves, this can be reversed, but tissue it cannot, indicating highly controlled genetic program for operating. termination involves least two, sometimes overlapping, mechanisms. one, perianth abscises before majority its cells initiate Abscission may occur during mobilization food reserves to other parts plant. Alternatively, petals more persistent, so deterioration remobilization while still flower. overall pattern varies widely between genera, therefore, number parameters have been used group plants into somewhat arbitrary categories. Opening rose unsolved jigsaw world floriculture industry mechanism behind onset early sequence remains elucidated. Hence, advancing knowledge on pertinent aspect literature has cited under review.
