摘要: For many years, vaginal delivery has been considered a principle causal factor in the development of incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse.1,2,3 Recent large, community-based epidemiological studies have revealed that pregnancy itself, with its associated hormonal, connective tissue, physical changes, plays major role, instrumental only further increasing risk floor dysfunction.4,5 Elective cesarean section is commonly believed to preserve function. Although it might significantly reduce prolapse anal sphincter defects, does not necessarily protect against urinary long term.5,6 Muscular, nerve, tissue damage demonstrated up 80% women after deliveries,7 but these changes do automatically result dysfunction symptoms.
