摘要: Livestock rations are formulated to minimize feed cost subject nutritional requirements for a target performance level, which ignores the potentially substantia lc ost of disposing nutrients fed in excess requirements. We incorporate nutrient disposal costs into modified least-cost ration formulation model arrive at joint decision that minimizes sum and net costs. The method i sd emonstrated with phosphorus on representative dairy farm. Herd size, land availability proximity, crop rotation, initial soil content shown be important determining
