摘要: The effects of carbonate (CO2-3) ion on the formation octacalcium phosphate (OCP) were studied at pH 7.4 and 37°C. reaction was carried out in solutions with various amounts KHCO3 (0–20mM) an initial solution Ca/P ratio 0.075–0.25. CO2-3 changes OCP/apatite product, depending upon solution, that is, increase CO3 concentration, amount OCP increases then decreases, while apatite decreases increases: when is high, a smaller disturbs crystal growth OCP. morphology products plate-like under CO3, but thickness size becomes small increasing concentration. These results indicate significantly affects product final crystals. Possible roles biological crystallization are discussed.
