摘要: Data from the Greater Manchester Butterfly Atlas (UK) reveal a highly significant and substantial impact of visits on both species' richness incidence in squares. This effect has been demonstrated for three different zones mapped at scales. The number persists when data are amalgamated coarser findings demonstrate that it is essential distribution mapping projects to record recording effort as well target organisms. Suggestions made how may be improved, including geographically environmentally representative structure permanently monitored squares closer links between Monitoring Scheme (BMS), which primarily monitors changes butterfly populations. benefit conservation will can better used analyse reasons ranges distributions, fundamental determining priorities policy decisions.
