摘要: 1. The interspecific relationship between the distributions of consumers and resources is examined, using data for macrolepidoptera (moths) in Britain. 2. Monophagous moth species feeding on host plants with small geographical ranges also have ranges, whilst those large may or themselves. Likewise, there an approximately triangular proportion range its that a monophagous occupies size range. 3. Most moths occupy their host, only feed hosts relatively ranges. 4. Factors determining both monophage plant’s it are independent taxonomy. 5. Monophages tend to smaller than congeneric polyphages, but do not they consume.
