摘要: The polymerization of acrylonitrile (AN) is efficiently, easily, and quickly achieved in the presence trans-[Co(III)en2Cl2]Cl complex a domestic microwave (MW) oven. MW irradiation notably promoted reaction; this phenomenon ascribed to acceleration initiator, ammonium persulfate (APS), decomposition by [Co(III)en2Cl2]Cl. conversion monomer polymer was mostly excellent gram scale. Irradiation at low power time produced more homogeneous polymers with high molecular weight polydispersity when compared formed conventional heating method. interaction reacting components monitored UV-visible spectrometer. average derived gel permeation chromatography (GPC), viscosity methods, sound velocity ultrasonic interferometer. uniform reduced size characterized transmission electron microscopy, diameter polyacrylonitrile nanoparticles (PAN) being range 50-115 nm 40-230 methods respectively. surface morphology PAN prepared scanning microscope (SEM). From kinetic results, rate (Rp) expressed as Rp = [AN](0.63) [APS](0.57) [complex (I)].(0.88.)
