摘要: Magnetically and optically confined Bose-Einstein condensates were studied near a microfabricated surface. Condensate fragmentation observed in magnetic traps was not optical dipole at the same location. The measured condensate lifetime $\ensuremath{\ge}20\text{ }\mathrm{s}$ independent of atom-surface separation under both confinement. Radio-frequency spin-flip transitions driven by technical noise directly for could limit traps.
