摘要: In this paper we summarize the theoretical arguments of Carson and Groves, et al., assemble early empirical evidence that comports with framework. doing so, argue redefining criterion validity in terms consequentiality offers potential for a fundamental paradigm shift Kuhnian sense. That has yet to be fully incorporated into contingent valuation literature reflects nascent state paradigmatic challenge as well continued inertia dominant hypothetical bias paradigm. Further, empirical support al.’s have emerged a somewhat piecemeal manner, spread across diverse set journal articles unpublished manuscripts
