摘要: Summary form only given. In order to apply OCT for imaging of internal organ systems, a flexible, small diameter, catheter/endoscope, which is capable delivering, focusing, scanning, and collecting single-spatial-mode optical beam, must be constructed. this summary, we describe the design performance prototype single-mode fiber-optic scanning catheter with diameter 1 mm. may performed at 1.3-micron wavelengths using either superluminescent laser diode source or Kerr-lens mode-locked Cr:forsterite laser, provides high powers high-speed imaging. This device an enabling technology will permit micron scale, cross-sectional medical diagnostic in tissues such as vascular system, gastrointestinal tract, urinary respiratory tract.
