Dielectric and pyroelectric studies of lead calcium titanate thin films

摘要: Thin ferroelectric films of calcium modified lead titanate (Pb/sub 1-x/Ca/sub x/TiO/sub 3/) have been prepared by sol gel spin coating process on ITO coated corning glass 7059 substrates. The values x in our study are 0.20, 0.24 and 0.28. Characterization these X-ray diffraction shows that the exhibit tetragonal phase with perovskite structure. Dielectric, pyroelectric studies carried out reported discussed. Dielectric constant at room temperature varies from 78 to 90 while coefficient 33 46 nC/cm/sup 2/K. High figure merit PCT potential applications as sensor materials.
