摘要: Free Disposal Hull (FDH) is one of the tools in theoretical and empirical work on measurement productive efficiency. Excluding linear combinations extremal observations to construct this reference technology entails that many belonging an evaluated dataset are labeled efficient by method. Few researchers have sought improve discrimination power FDH. Van Puyenbroeck [H. Tulkens, On FDH efficiency analysis: some methodological issues applications retail, banking, courts urban transit, Journal Productivity Analysis 4 (1993) 183-210] modified standard method using Andersen Petersen [N. Adler, L. Friedman, Z. Siunuany-Stern, Review ranking methods data envelopment analysis context, European Operational Research, 140 (2002) 249-265], referred AP (ii) as number DMU, input output small where levels equal zero, none three extended can provide a full ranking; (iii) increased all positive, it seems MAJ more precise than other methods.
