摘要: Malignant melanoma is the most aggressive form of skin cancer, responsible for majority cancer-related deaths. Metastatic resistant to surgery, radiation or chemotherapy, and an effective therapy has not yet been established. Our study investigated therapeutic potential suppressor cytokine signalling-1 (SOCS-1), endogenous inhibitor intracellular signalling pathway, treating melanoma. Adenovirus vectors encoding SOCS-1 gene were used overexpress in three cell lines (G361, SK-MEL5 SK-MEL28). In G361 SK-MEL5, overexpression significantly reduced proliferation induced apoptosis in vitro in vivo. Furthermore, we indicated that antiproliferative effect correlated only with decreased levels activation signal transducer activator transcription (STAT)3 but also increased p53 expression phosphorylation. These findings indicate clinical use treatment.
