摘要: Predation by Cape fur seals Arctocephalus pusillus on seabirds has previously been attributed to a few individuals, mainly males. Scat samples were collected at three mainland breeding colonies of in Namibia determine the extent seabird predation. Mainly females sampled. No scats from van Reenen Bay and Atlas-Wolf colonies, only two Cross, contained feather remains, giving an overall frequency occurrence feathers 0.1%. The found African penguin Spheniscus demersus species cormorant (Phalacrocorax sp.).
