摘要: Summary Tetrahymena pyriformis GL-I were synchronized by three different techniques and nucleoside phosphotransferase activity measured through the cell cycles obtained. In cells that starved then refed, did not increase until 75 min after refeeding. This in occurred well before nuclear DNA synthesis was blocked hydroxyurea. induction technique of one heat shock per generation selection differential density labelling, enzyme increased continuously over cycle but double. However, during early logarithmic growth more than doubled time while late log phase less a doubling observed. Cycloheximide mixed extract experiments suggest patterns observed reflect synthesis. These results are discussed with respect to pattern for thymidine kinase other organisms.
