The Emergence of Barebacking Among Gay and Bisexual Men in the United States: A Public Health Perspective

摘要: SUMMARY Barebacking (intentional unprotected anal sex) represents a significant threat to the health of gay, bisexual, and other men who have sex with (MSM), which is not well defined understood. Despite relative lack research on this issue, most MSM heard barebacking, substantial minority has had bareback sex. Individual reasons six community-level influences that may contributed emergence barebacking are reviewed: (1) improvements in HIV treatment, (2) more complex sexual decision-making, (3) Internet, (4) substance use, (5) safer fatigue, (6) changes prevention programs. The implications for discussed, suggestions future offered.
