摘要: Abstract The objective of this study was to evaluate adsorption characteristics phosphate by rapid cooled basic oxygen furnace slag (RC-BOFS) through various conditions and removal rate in small-scale constructed wetland with RC-BOFS as filter material. the first 0.5 h pseudo-second-order kinetic model fit data better than pseudo-first-order model. maximum capacities under different pH were following order: 3.57 mg P g−1 (pH 5) > 2.47 mg P g−1 7) > 1.46 mg P g−1 9). Small-size (0.8–2.3 mm) more efficient 23% higher big-size (2.3–4.6 mm). Characterization before after XRD, FTIR SEM-EDS indicated that dominated metal oxide precipitation calcium closely related chemical properties. saturation time coarse sand predicted about 292 days, whereas longevity adding 25% can significantly increase up 1349 days. It concluded horizontal flow 75%:RC-BOFS ratio could achieve high near-neutral for meeting acceptable water quality discharge standard from treatment plant.
