摘要: PURPOSES: to investigate the effects of high sound pressure levels in classrooms and changes on acoustic immittance auditory skills children early literacy. METHODS: quantitative exploratory study. Acoustic measurement, using dosimeter, visual inspection external canal, tonal audiometry thresholds, speech recognition tests immittance. The results measurements through dosimeter four schools Santa Maria, RS, Brazil divided sample 87 3 4 years primary school, aged eight ten years,into two groups - group 1 / not exposed 2/ higher than 80dB(A). was also separated 38 without 49 with changes, measured theirs listening for dichotic test alternate disyllabics SSW. RESULTS: G1 has presented better DC EC both terms, however evidence statistics difference; it showed similar performance between groups; phonemic decoding, but worse codification organization sub profiles.
