摘要: Geographic variation in microsatellite allele frequencies was assessed at nine sites two regional vocal dialects of the parrot Amazona auropalliata (yellow-naped amazon) to test for correspondence between and population structure. There no relationship genetic distances individuals their dialect membership. High rates gene flow were estimated based on differentiation. In addition, 5.5% pairs compared across boundary be related level half siblings, indicating that dispersal is ongoing. The number effective migrants per generation with data roughly one-seventh mitochondrial control region sequence from same individuals, suggesting may female-biased. Together, these results suggest observed mosaic pattern geographic vocalizations maintained by learning local call types immigrant birds after dispersal. We found evidence ongoing habitat fragmentation has contributed cryptic
