摘要: A new method is described for estimating genetic relatedness from markers such as protein polymorphisms. It based on Grafen's (1985) coefficient and most easily interpreted in terms of identity by descent rather than a regression. has several advantages over methods currently use: it eliminates downward bias small sample sizes; improves estimation subsets population samples; allows single group or pair individuals. Individual estimates tend to be highly variable but, aggregate, can still very useful data nonparametric tests. Such tests allow testing differences between two samples correlating individual values with another variable.
