摘要: Until recently, it was thought that the important stages in development of brain occurred before birth and postnatal growth merely represented an increase size, not complexity. This concept has been shown to be incorrect. It is now known rapid expansion after reflects ongoing maturational processes connections among neurons facilitate neuronal function.1,2 Many these refinements continue until well into adulthood may utilized brain’s response injury.12,13,14
