摘要: Rat GH gene expression is known to be stimulated by several factors, including thyroid hormone and GRF. This effect of GRF appears mediated cAMP resulting from activation adenylate cyclase the peptide. The elements rat important for stimulation cell-specific have been previously mapped using transfection techniques. Cell-specific two located −137 −107 −95 −65. Sequences mediating are thought between −208 −160. In this study, three different methods elevate levels in cells [forskolin, a direct activator catalytic subunit; 8-(4-chlorophenylthio)cAMP, nonmetabolizable analog; isobutylmethylxanthine, phosphodiesterase inhibitor], we show that 5′-flanking DNA can mediate (10- 20-fold). cAMP-responsive region was se...
