摘要: Objective To report the functional and anatomical outcome of 20 patients who underwent surgical removal choroidal neovascularization combined with transplantation autologous iris pigment epithelial cells to subretinal space 3 years after treatment. Methods Freshly isolated were translocated in membrane extraction. Patients followed up by funduscopy, angiography, microperimetry, visual acuity testing. Results After a follow-up years, 1 patient showed improved acuity, 13 retained stable had reduced acuity. No macular edema or recurrent was apparent at any time during follow-up. Conclusions Transplanted well tolerated for stabilization achieved most patients. These results suggest that may serve as substitute retinal exudative degeneration; however, whether these will be value restoration vision possible protection against recurrence awaits further clinical observation additional research.
