摘要: Hydrogen peroxide has been suggested to play an important role in the pathogenesis of Alzheimer's disease. In present study, effects hydrogen upon functional integrity beta-adrenoceptors have investigated C6 glioma cells. Treatment cells for 24 h with serum-free medium produced a concentration-dependent cell toxicity, seen both using counting and LDH release into as end point. There were no large nor consistent changes either density surface beta 1, or 2-adrenoceptors, measured hydrophilic ligand [3H](-)-CGP 12177, basal, forskolin isoprenaline-stimulated cAMP responses, following treatment. It is concluded that decreased adenylyl cyclase activity responsiveness Gs stimulation found post-mortem brain samples from disease autopsy cases unlikely be mediated by peroxide.
