摘要: The long-term physical existence of sandy shores critically depends on a balanced sediment budget. From the principles Building with Nature it follows that sustainable protection should employ some form shore nourishment. In spatial design process urbanized shores, where multiple functions must be integrated, knowledge and prediction dynamics beach-dune morphology thus play an essential role. This expertise typically resides coastal scientists who have condensed their in various types morphological models serve different purposes rely assumptions, specific strengths limitations. paper identifies information needs for integrated using BwN principles, outlines capabilities to support this current gaps between two. A clear mismatch arises from absence buildings accompanying human activities numerical simulating developments environments.
