摘要: Sulfate-chloride ratios in ice samples from the Greenland sheet indicate that combustion of fossil fuels is now introducing slightly more sulfur into atmosphere than such natural processes as volcanism and oxidation hydrogen sulfide derived organic matter. The amount sulfate co-varies with lead recent glacial strata, which fact suggests similar source areas atmospheric paths for these two pollutants.
