摘要: Abstract Based on a survey of the sulphur emission in Europe and measurements at about 70 ground stations by aircraft, atmospheric dispersion models have been used to evaluate long range transfer pollutants Europe. The annual mean dioxide concentrations from ~ 20 μg m −3 rural areas close major source regions ~2 remote northern western aerosol sulphate are lower, ~10 fall off more gently ~0.5 areas. pattern wet deposition shows enhanced values exposed polluted air masses locally increased precipitation. Qualitatively main features concentration fields reproduced model calculations, but full quantitative agreement cannot be expected because many approximations made. However, an basis, correlation coefficient 0.9 was obtained between observed calculated values. Estimates one country other countries given for 1974. These amounts are, however, dependent variations weather pattern. Future plans monitoring evaluation transport outlined. Experience indicates that considerable improvements could probably introducing detailed formulations chemical reactions processes models.
