Angiotensin-Forming Enzyme in Brain Tissue

摘要: A renin-like enzyme is present in brain tissue and independent of kidney plasma renin. In the presence homologous substrate it forms angiotensin. Administration aldosterone significantly decreases this angiotensinforming activity, while administration progesterone markedly enhances it.
