摘要: Abstract We tested the possibility of amperometric detection DNA hybridization on a gold surface influenced by immobilization oligonucleotide giving different orientations single stranded relative to surface. The sensor was fabricated chemisorption 18-mer modified phosphorothioate group either at its 3′ or both and 5′ terminal. After support, immersed in 11-mercaptoundecanoic acid (MUA) solution. Further MUA resulted approximately 10-fold increase resistance organic layer. Addition complementary an conductivity for oriented perpendicular support (DNA with one thiol group), while conductance decreased parallel (with groups terminals). non-complementary chain slight decrease no change conductivity. process types is not cooperative can be described Langmuir isotherms. event has been confirmed mass using quartz crystal microbalance technique.
