摘要: Pierre Robin sequence (PRS) may lead to life-threatening respiratory and feeding disorders. With the aim analyse association of severities retrognathia glossoptosis with those disorders, we retrospectively studied a series 50 infants retrognathia, glossoptosis, cleft palate, airway obstruction. The patients were managed from birth at least 6 years age by single pediatric team Armand Trousseau Hospital in Paris within 12 period (2000-2012). Retrognathia graded neonatal according specific clinical examination. Ventilation assistance was required for 32/50 (64%) patients, enteral 41/50 (82%). grades severity disorders did not differ between isolated PRS syndromic PRS. Severe more common long-lasting (>12 months) frequently compared (42 vs. 13%, p = 0.04 42 4%, (OR 18.6, 95% CI 3.9-89.2 OR 20.4, 3,4-122.8; (adjusted 21.72, 3.4-138.63; < 10-2). predictive factors Conclusion: In children PRS, conditions correlate anatomic variables but rather laryngeal abnormalities, neurological impairement status.
