摘要: Feminist debate on aerobics mainly focuses the disciplining discourses that women face, to be thin, fit and beautiful. Although it is important examine these I argue discussion has taken a wrong turn in putting such emphasis pressures. this kind of debate, which greatly influenced by Michel Foucault, disregards experience arobicizers reduces millions enjoy passive victims, cultural dupes or docile bodies. This also leads feminists label as oppressive, witch believe unfair because aerobics, like most practices, contradictory can both oppressive liberating. feminist would benefit from using classic method building theories women's personal experiances. scolors should put more emphysis experiences aerobicizers, than discipling forces face. Focusing aerobicizers reveal liberating aspects open examining how exercise agency. (Less)
