摘要: Fistulas in Crohn's disease are classified as internal fistulas, for example, enteroenteric, enterovesical, rectovaginal, and external enterocutaneous, perianal, parastomal. Although radiographic contrast studies superior to endoscopy diagnosing endoscopic procedures have a definite role the evaluation management of fistulizing disease. Endoscopy allows tissue sampling, provides information regarding extent severity gastrointestinal inflammation, presence such complications strictures cancer. Preoperative colonoscopy has particular value assessing an enterocolonic fistula, important implications type surgery performed. Endoscopic therapy fistula is less certain, but may allow dilation associated strictures, someday serve better delivery system targeted anticytokine immunologically based therapy.
