摘要: AbstractStructural analogs of the hexapeptide sequence 54–59 (A) human casein, reported to stimulate immune response, were synthesized and evaluated for immunostimulant activity. Hexapeptide 91/409 (C), 90/649 (D) 91/361 (E) stimulated higher antibody titre delayed type hvper-sensitivity (DTH) response than natural casein in BALB/c mice-sheep red blood cells (SRBC) guinea pig-ovalbumin models. These peptides also induced stimulation non-specific as evidenced by increase macrophage migration index (MMI), phagocytosis (14C) lecuine labelled Escherchia coli, incorporation (14C)-glucosamine peritoneal macrophages proliferative mouse thymocytes. Significant suppression on course Plasmodium berghei infection was observed day 4, animals treated with hexapeptidse C D.
