摘要: Abstract The liquid phase, two-photon induced intermolecular charge transfer transition, Cl2 + Xe 2hv → Xe+Cl−2, in which the photon is resonant with dissociative Cl2(1Πu) intermediate state, shown to proceed on a time scale shorter than 100 fs. process therefore classified as coherent, cooperative absorption. subsequent evolution of harpoon reaction, Xe+Cl−2 Xe+Cl− Cl, further proceeds form Xe+2Cl−, followed by stimulating radiative dissociation Xe+Cl−. While formation cannot be temporally resolved, triatomic bond forms 330
