摘要: Intraluminal thrombus formation in aortic abdominal aneurysms (AAA) is associated with adverse clinical prognosis. Interplay between coagulation and inflammation, characterised by leukocyte infiltration cytokine production, has been implicated AAA formation. We studied (CD45+) content flow cytometry thrombi from 27 patients undergoing surgical repair. Luminal parts of were leukocyte-rich, while abluminal segments showed low content. CD66b+ granulocytes the most prevalent, but their was similar to blood. Monocytes (CD14+) T cells (CD3+) also abundant, B lymphocytes (CD19+) NK (CD56+CD16+) low. Thrombi comparable CD14highCD16– monocytes lower CD14highCD16+ CD14dimCD16+, than activated high CD11b, CD11c HLA-DR expression. Total cell decreased compared peripheral blood CD8 CD3+CD4-CD8– (double negative cell) contents increased thrombi. CD4+ highly (high CD69, CD25 HLA-DR). No differences regulatory (CD4+CD25+FoxP3+) or pro-atherogenic CD4+CD28null lymphocyte observed Thrombus expressed levels CCR5 receptor for chemokine RANTES, commonly released platelets. Leukocyte not correlated aneurysm size. However, CD3+ significantly smoking multivariate analysis taking into account major risk factors atherosclerosis. In conclusion, intraluminal are inflamed, predominantly granulocytes, lymphocytes. Smoking
