摘要: The local circulatory changes induced by intramedullary reaming are not fully understood. This study aimed to analyse the short-term microcirculation associated with different surgical strategies in a porcine model mid-shaft fracture. German landrace pigs were subjected standardised femoral fracture under standard anaesthesia and intensive care monitoring. One group was nailing (nail group), while second stabilised external fixation (fix ex group). Microcirculation [e.g. relative blood flow (flow), oxygen saturation haemoglobin concentration] measured vastus lateralis muscle adjacent using an O2C (oxygen see, LEA Medizintechnik GMBH) device at 0 (before fracture, baseline), 6 (90-min posttreatment), 24, 48 72 h. A total of 24 male used group, n = 12; fix n = 12). During observation period, significant increase found (P = 0.048), (P = 0.023) 72 h (P = 0.042) comparison baseline levels. Local delivery significantly higher (P = 0.017) (P = 0.021) animals nail compared group. determined (e.g. delivery) treated fixation. These may be importance for healing systemic inflammatory responses. Further studies this area justified.
