摘要: Purpose To investigate the features of neovascularization (NV) in eyes with neovascular age-related macular degeneration using optical coherence tomography angiography (OCTA) according to treatment interval intravitreal aflibercept injection (IVI). Design Retrospective, interventional, comparative case series. Methods Patients type 1 NV treated “pro re nata” regimen after 3 loading IVI were classified into 2 groups based on numbers treatments during 12 months, specifically a stable group who required fewer than injections and an unstable more injections. Quantitative OCTA including area, length, density, endpoint density (open-ended vessels per unit length), junction (vessel lacunarity, largest vessel caliber compared between groups. Results Among 71 eyes, 38 33 groups, respectively. The had higher densities (stable vs unstable: 2.72 3.18; P = .03) levels lacunarity (0.177 0.211; .028). length NV, not different (P = .057, .184, .062, .160, .473, respectively). Endpoint was correlated both univariate multivariate analyses .004, .002, A predictive model index demonstrated sensitivity 93.75% negative value 89.47% for group. Conclusions characteristics exudative requirements. Identifying might be helpful predicting clinical outcomes optimal intervals.
