摘要: OBJECTIVES To define neovascularization (NV) patterns and their association with exudative activity in type 1 neovascular age-related macular degeneration (NVAMD). METHODS In optical coherence tomography angiography (OCTA) images of NVAMD, we stratified NV according to whether they contained core vessel (C+/C-) fine branching vessels (F+/F-) or not into C - F +, C + F +, C + F - groups. Qualitative analyses assessing the status peripheral tiny branching, inner capillaries, arcade, loop, perilesional halo quantitative considering area, length, density, numbers junctions endpoints (open-ended vessels) were conducted presence exudation on structural OCT. RESULTS Among 96 eyes, was found C - F + (33.3%) C + F + (47.6%) groups, related both groups (p = 0.022 p < 0.001) C + F + group (p < 0.001). Peripheral arcades, loops observed more than half (68.3%, 58.7%, 69.8%) but C + F + group. analysis, number associated univariate multivariate (p = 0.011 p = 0.016) CONCLUSIONS After pattern classification, considered have compared without branching. The analysis showed activity.
