摘要: In September 2006, the 7-valent pneumococcal conjugate vaccine (PCV7) was added to UK immunization programme. We aimed evaluate impact of PCV7 on incidence all-cause community-acquired pneumonia (CAP) in children. A prospective survey undertaken 2008–2009 at 11 hospitals North East England children aged 0–16 years with radiologically confirmed pneumonia. Data were compared those from a similar same 2001–2002. total 542 enrolled, which 74% <5 years. uptake 90·7%.
