摘要: Tripartite motif (TRIM) proteins are defined by their possession of a RING, B-box and predicted coiled coil (RBCC) domain. The coiled-coil region facilitates the oligomerisation TRIMs contributes to formation high molecular weight complexes that show interesting subcellular compartmentalisations structures. TRIM protein compartments include both nuclear cytoplasmic filaments aggregates (bodies), as well diffuse distributions. TRIM19, otherwise known promyelocytic leukaemia (PML) forms termed PML bodies (PML NBs), at which number functionally diverse transiently or covalently associate. NBs therefore implicated in wide variety cellular functions such transcriptional regulation, viral response, apoptosis storage.
