摘要: The mechanical behavior of Enset pulp commonly known as “kocho” in Ethiopia was examined under compression loading test involving a compressive device and pressing vessel. pressed at initial height 70 mm deformation values ranging between 5 mm 30 mm speed 10 mm/min. Applying the tangent curve equation, mathematical description dependency force appropriate described. maximal yield liquid contained emerged during process were determined. mathematically described, which showed linear function. It further observed that surfaced throughout process. Deformation energy, volume energy gradient relation to respectively calculated. seen 20 mm efficient compared with deformations lower or greater than 20 mm. Practical Application The theoretical model determined this present study for provides useful information application nonlinear screw presses design development simple technology optimization requirement processing other important products. This new when developed would contribute substantially improvement Ethiopian's African countries' food security.
