摘要: This chapter reviews zero hours work and working time uncertainty in a comparative context, based on the findings of country studies this volume. It identifies various employment arrangements Anglo-Saxon countries according to their levels job instability extant each country. While there are multiple reasons why employers use with uncertainty, focuses it as mechanism managerial control. The then clusters strength state regulatory responses. Despite similarities amongst terms regimes, comparatively weak labour regulation market position workers, some have responded more strongly than others regulation. Finally, examines importance challenges law social protection avenues protecting people significant uncertainty.
