摘要: In the development of wireless sensor networks, lifetime a node is always key design consideration. Since battery in can usually not be recharged or changed, power management an effective way to extend network lifetime. The transceiver, also regarded as ‘main radio’, relatively hungry component node. Therefore, auxiliary always-on hardware ‘wakeup radio’ was proposed order reduce overall consumption. wakeup radio listens channel whereas main only active for rather short time when receives packet with certain pattern. Consequently, efficiency becomes primary concern radio. This thesis focuses on low and implementation digital baseband subsystem Firstly, architecture details are described. Then verified by both Spartan-3 FPGA board TSMC90 chips. functional designed. end, chip measurement setup results discussed. consumption varies from 2.1 ?w 8.4 ?w, within our target 10 ?w. To knowledge, it first work
