摘要: Summary Histomorphological evaluation of the profile carbohydrate-binding proteins with specificities to α- and β-glucosides (maltose, cellobiose), α-L-fucosides (L-fucose), α-D-mannosides (D-mannose), a N-acetylated sugar, present in natural glycoconjugates (N-acetyl-D-glucosamine), two negatively charged sugars (glucuronic acid sialic acid), rhamnose (6-deoxy-L-mannose) or heparin has been assessed. 133 cases formalin fixed, paraffin embedded human lung carcinoma specimens (45 epidermoid carcinoma, 24 small cell anaplastic 48 adenocarcinoma, 16 large carcinoma) as well 14 epithelial biphasic mesothelioma 7 pleuritis carcinomatosa were incubated biotinylated, suitably modified neoglycoproteins for detecting corresponding endogenous sugar receptors (lectins). Histochemical reaction was demonstrated by use avidin-biotin-method. Significant differences obtained between different markers used each type types. For separating from non carrying histochemically crucial maltose, fucose, man nose residues are useful, showing positive only 4–8% compared 60–80% cases. separation carrier, attachment N-acetylglucosamine moieties is most useful marker being negative all analyzed 62–80% adenocarcinoma Analysis histochemical relation tumour volume showed significant decrease percentage fucosylated probe increasing volume. The opposite found heparin. pT- pN-stage revealed no expression at statistically level (p>0.05).
