摘要: Aluminium (Al) is one of the most prominent metals in environment and responsible for causing several neurological disorders, including Alzheimer's disease. On other hand, zinc (Zn) an essential micronutrient that involved regulating brain development function. The present study investigates protective potential Zn uptake 14C-labeled amino acids glucose their turnover rat slices during Al intoxication. Male Sprague Dawley rats (140–160 g) were divided into four different groups: normal control, treated (100 mg/kg body weight/day via oral gavage), (227 mg/liter drinking water), Al + Zn treated. Radiorespirometric assay revealed increase after exposure was attenuated treatment. Furthermore, increased treatment but appreciably decreased upon supplementation. In addition, uptakes 14C-lysine, 14C-leucine, 14C-aspartic acid also found to be elevated following caused alterations neurohistoarchitecture brain, which improved coadministration. Therefore, suggests provides protection against Al-induced neurotoxicity by rats, indicating could a candidate various neurodegenerative disorders. © 2015 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
